Katherine New is an NHS Healthcare Scientist, working at the RD&E Hospital for over 20 years. With lifelong experience in community leadership and governance roles and having grown up in St Thomas and Alphington, she is committed to improving the quality of life for people in Exeter. Mason Bell - Candidate for St Thomas

Mason is new to Exeter and is keen to understand the issue that are important to Exeter residents. He lives in St.Thomas and is involved in the St.Thomas Community Association. He is interested in supporting local community groups, and is particularly keen to raise and address the daily issues faced by people with disabilities.  He is running a petition to demand Network Rail and GWR make St.Thomas station more accessible to disabled people by installing a lift to both platforms. 

Cllr Cynthia Thompson

Cynthia Thompson is a current Conservative city councillor for Pinhoe, and has previously served as The Lord Mayor of Exeter.

John Harvey

John Harvey standing for the Duryard and St James Ward. Former City Centre Manager for 18 years, John has been at the heart of the city's development into one of the hubs of the Southwest. After two decades working at the heart of city centre development, John a former Exeter City Councillor for Alphington is standing for the Duryard and St James ward, and if elected will work alongside fellow Conservative Coucillor Percy Prowse.

Ruth Smith - Association President

Ruth Smith is currently President of the Exeter Conservative Association. With many years of experience in local city council politics as a former city councillor, she is an expert on issues surrounding Pinhoe and Exeter as a whole. Anne Jobson - Association Chairman

Anne Jobson was elected Association Chairman in July 2016. She has lived in Exeter for 15 years, first in St Thomas before moving to north Exeter. A barrister specialising in family and childcare law; she sees the challenges facing young families. Anne wants priority given to local families needing homes rather than more student housing developments in the City. Anne was awarded the OBE for political and public service and enjoys meeting local groups and residents to make sure their voice is heard. Anne is often seen at local events with her little owl “Theia” or walking the northern section of the Green Circle with her springer spaniel.

Cllr Percy Prowse

County Councillor for Pennsylvania, Stoke Hill and Duryard, Percy was a beat police Officer for 32 years. This was spent mostly in the City covering the St James and St David’s wards. Percy was involved in all aspects of Community interest and has now retired. He has been a City Councillor for Duryard since 2007. Percy was the infamous Bobby on a bike iconically wearing a cape, becoming a recognizable presence in the community. He is married with 3 children and four grand-children. His wife Elaine works for a High St branch of a kitchen-ware store.
